Exhibition Grade Claro Walnut Gunstock Blank: 1 1/4" to 1 3/8" thick x 22 1/2" to 23" wide x 36" to 41 3/4" length. This Claro Walnut specimen was sawn from the crotch of a 150+ year old walnut tree that grew in Dixon California. This beauty has been air drying for over 5 years and has been machined flat and finish sanded to 220 grit and is 99.9% blemish free. We shot this piece dry with no finish applied and included pictures taken using alcohol to display the extraordinary natural characteristics found throughout the piece.
