The Madrone Burl Occasional Table, shown below, has a 19" wide Madrone top with a rough edge corresponding to the natural burl surface. The burl top has a very intricate and beautifully complex grain patterns. The Tiger stripe Maple legs have been ebonized, except for the tips.

This table was hancrafted by Donald Dalke, who lives and works in the Sierra Nevada Mountains above Arnold California. His goal is to display the beauty and diversity of native California hardwoods in their most natural condition. The resulting tables have unembellished thick slab tops with natural edges.
