The chainsaw mill pictured below is a modified Granberg Mill powered by a 16hp Stihl 090. A six foot bar is being employed to slab this extraordinary claro walnut log. The largest slabs measured: 3" thick by 60" wide by 10' long. The tree that this log was harvested from is shown below. This tree was removed due to advanced crown rot.
