Our new bandsaw mill pictured below is a Linn Mill. This mill will accomodate 48" between the saw guides and will raise to a height of 48". The mill is powered by a 10hp electric motor. The log being sawn is California Claro walnut. One end has been sealed with latex paint; we had to trim the other end because the log was too long for the mill. Once the slabs were sawn we sealed the unpainted ends. The slab pictured measures: 3" thick by 42" to 46" wide by 10' long; milled 11-06. We have also included pictures of our milling table to show how we surface large slabs.
